Ayyam-i-ha (Intercalary Days) - February 26 through March 1

Ayyam-i-ha, or “Days of Ha,” are devoted to spiritual preparation for the Fast.  It is a time of celebrating, hospitality, charity and gift giving. Typically a gift is given to loved ones each day, although the number and times of gift giving are entirely up to the gift giver.
